These are the latest snapshots of the working repository. If you do try them, your feedback is very much appreciated.
Please note that important functionality is still missing, though current stability should be mostly reasonably good. Test coverage is not complete so you find broken functionality especially if related to areas that have seen recent changes.
First install the ardourd engine, then the ayyigtk gui. The server should auto-launch, so manually starting it before starting a client, is no longer necessary in most cases.
Best results will be had compiling ayyigtk with —disable-help.
Compilation has been tested on Gentoo and Ubuntu Lucid. Only 32bit systems are fully tested. VST support is currently partially working.

ardourd ebuild
Neat tools, will be interesting to explore seismix/ayyi
ardourd ebuild looks like could use a RESTRICT=”nomirror”
Glad you had the ebuilds made up; that was a pleasant surprise as I’d expected a bit of a messy process to get something resembling ayyigtk env built. Thanks.
Thanks for the tip! Added.
