These are the latest snapshots of the working repository. They are not tested, and are hence not guaranteed to run properly, or even compile :-). If you do try them, your feedback is very much appreciated.

Please note that important functionality is still missing, though current stability should be better than it has been for a while.

First install the ardourd engine, then the ayyigtk gui. The server does not auto-launch, so you will have to manually start it before starting a client.

Best results will be had compiling ayyigtk with —disable-help.

Compilation has been tested on Gentoo and Ubuntu Lucid. Only 32bit systems have been tested. VST support is currently partially working.

noticed the ebuild pulls in mysql. possibly er, SQLite would be more appropriate?

(may be talking about sapmlecat rather than this.. )
